Early Group Rift Runners Loot System
This loot system is based upon the Suicide Kings Loot System which can be found at

The idea behind the ladder is to spread loot around the team on a fair basis, removing any "randomness" as a way of distributing loot.
Overview
1. There will be three ladders that determine who has first crack at any Rift Armor gems or Teal loot. The first ladder is for the first five Rift gems, the second ladder is for any Teal items dropped from Bosses 1-7, and the third ladder is for the final Armor gem (Shoulders) dropped during the
Balrog fight. Each ladder is separate from the other.
2. Once on the particular ladder, the highest member has first shot of any loot that comes up. If it is a gem item and he or she does NOT have that gem, they will receive the gem and drop to the bottom of the ladder. Gems cannot be passed on. If the loot is a Teal item, he or she can choose to pass to next highest member. If you pass, you retain your position on the Teal ladder.
3. If you win the item, you move to the bottom of the ladder and everyone else moves up the ladder (unless you are not attending that day).
4. If you cannot attend the run, you stay on the ladder in your current position – neither moving up or down.
5.
Beric will maintain the three ladders, tracking everyone’s winnings and ladder position and post the updated ladders after each run.
6. If you have already won the Rift gem under consideration, you will pass on the item and let the next person down the ladder win the gem.
7. If everyone has passed on any teal item, then we will random for the item and you can do with it as you choose.
8.
Beric will act as "master looter" in all Boss chest looting to insure that the ladders are maintained.

Starting the Ladder
1. Prior to your first run, you will roll a /random 100 for each ladder that is applicable.
2. Your roll will determine your starting position on the existing ladder under the last person currently on it. Ties will /random 100 again.
Non-Armor Gems and other Teal/Purple Loot:
1. Any Purple items found in the boss chests is rolled on by anyone that wants the gear. High roll wins and ties are re-rolled.
2. If no one wants any of the Purple gear,
Beric will assign all remaining gear using a /random 12 roll.
3. The
Balrog also drops a weapons gem. Anyone that wants the gem will roll and if you win counts as the only Teal item you can win that run. Anyone having previously won a Weapon gem will pass on future rolls until everyone has one. At that point everyone will start over for the second gem that is available.
4. The
Balrog drops a chain which is turned in for a ring and a one-time only +3 hope for 3 hours. If you have previously won the chain you will pass on the roll and if you win we expect you to run the Balrog the next week for the +3 hope.
5. Any other Teals that drop during the
Balrog fight are rolled on by anyone not having won the Weapon gem, or chain.

Player Mains vs
Alts
1. Our ladders are for Players and therefore we do not differentiate between mains and
alts.
2. Once you are on the ladder, any character you bring along for that run that win a gem or Teal item causes your character to drop to the bottom as covered above.
Beric will keep the ladder consistent with whatever character names you have.
